About Wool

The wool I use is "homegrown". I harvest it from my own sheep. In 2017 I did a science fair project on how to get more wool from my sheep and I was very happy to see that I correct in my hypothesis which was that feeding them a pellet food would help them produce more wool. After I harvest the wool we ship it to a company that will turn the raw wool into roving for me. When they send it back to us I make my dryer balls. Recently we have been trying new techniques like adding color wool to them to make them more fun and attractive. We also have tried adding essential oils to them to make the clothes smell even better! I am still trying more interesting ideas to make my product better so if you have any advice or feedback please let me know!
