Your cover letter may make the difference between obtaining a job interview or having your resume ignored so it pay's to try your hardest include in each paragraph of your cover letter and some tips as well
Paragraph 1
A. What job you are applying for
B. How you heard about the job
C. List qualifications for that job
Paragraph 2
A. Highlight your primary experiences and/or qualifications. Show you have knowledge of the company-focus on what you can do for the company
B. Make sure lines flow and you aren't just starting things. You want to come of as professional (stay away from unformed words like "thing and a lot").
Paragraph 3
A. Thank the company for their consideration
B. If you have a contact name and can do a follow up, put it in. (1-2 weeks is a good time frame).
