Grilled Venison
⅓ cup | soy sauce |
⅓ cup | brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | ground ginger |

½ cup | pineapple juice |
2 pounds | venison steak |
Venison Burger
1 ½ pounds | venison |
½ pound | regular bacon (or bacon ends, chopped roughly) |
add | Salt (smoked salt if you have it) |
add | black pepper (freshly ground) |
3 tablespoons | butter (lard or vegetable oil) |
1 | medium onions (large or 2, thinly sliced) |
add | burger buns |
add | something green (like bibb lettuce, arugula, sorrel or spinach) |
add slices | fresh tomato (or canned, fire-roasted peppers, winter, summer) |
add slices | cheese of your choice |
