The combination of feta cheese blended with herbs, spices, and fresh garlic along with tomatoes on top of Italian bread is sure to satisfy your taste buds. | Perfect for a cold winter night but it's light enough for a sunny day. This hearty, creamy, yet simple soup is full of great taste. | Savor the flavors of summer with fresh sliced peaches cooking away with butter and spices. A dollop of fresh whipped cream makes it a perfect way to end a meal. |
Recipe 1/4 cup butter, melted 1/4 cup grape-seed oil 1 inch slices of French bread 4 ounces of crumbles feta cheese 2 cloves of minced garlic 1 tablespoon of minced fresh basil 1 large tomato, chopped In a small bowl, combine the butter and oil; brush onto both sides of bread. Place bread on a baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown on top. Combine the feta cheese, garlic, and basil; sprinkle mixture of the bread then top with chopped tomatoes. Bake 8-10 minutes longer or until heated through. |
Recipe 4 tablespoons unsalted butter 3 celery ribs, cut into 1/2-inch pieces 2 carrots, cut into 1/2-inch pieces 1 medium onion, chopped 2 minced garlic cloes 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped thyme Salt Pepper 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 quarts chicken stock broth 2 cups water 4 cups roasted chicken, cubed 1 cup heavy cream or milk In a large saucepan, melt the butter. Add the celery, carrots, onion, garlic, thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stir occasionally, until vegetables start to soften. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and cook, stirring, until evenly coated and lightly browned. Add the wild rice to the saucepan and gradually stir in the stock and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender. Add the chicken and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the wild rice is tender. Stir in the cream and season with salt and pepper. |
Recipe Batter: 1/2 cup melted butter 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2/3 cup room temperature milk 1 egg, room temperature Filling: 28 ounces freshly, sliced peaches 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg Melt butter in a 9x13 inch pan. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and egg. Pour evenly over melted butter. Combine peaches, sugar, and spices and spread over batter. DO NOT STIR. Bake 35-45 minutes at 350° F until batter comes to the top and is golden brown. |

Enter your best recipe into our contest for a chance to have your dish added to our menu! We have four contests a year. For the January through March contest submit your favorite appetizer recipe. For the April through June contest enter your best entrée. For the July through August contest, send in the most delicious dessert recipe you have. The final contest of the year takes place from September until December. For this contest, submit your most delicious recipe. Winners will have their recipe added to our menus. Good luck!
